Delivery will be the day after our trip to IKEA. We go to Utah every couple of weeks, usually on Wednesday, and then deliver on Thursday. We will specify the delivery date range for your order in your confirmation e-mail and PayPal invoice when you place order. If you have an urgent order of $5,000 or more, we can make arrangements with you for a special trip. Your trip would not necessarily have to coincide with our regular delivery schedule. Should you happen to have an urgent order, please contact us by phone or e-mail.

• Can I pick my item up rather than have it delivered?

If you live outside of Boise and would rather drive to Boise to pick up your item, we can make arrangements for a delivery coordination fee of $20. Pick-up will be scheduled in a mutually convenient location in Boise (a parking lot for instance) at a specific time. We will treat your pick-up just as we would treat any delivery on our delivery date, the only difference is you will be meeting us with your vehicle rather than us dropping the item off at your home. For example, a customer from Mountain Home orders, and informs us that they would rather pick up their item than pay the delivery charge. We arrange to meet the customer in the Overland Edwards movie theater parking lot between 2:30-3:00 on the day following our IKEA trip. If you are considering making arrangements with us to pick up an item, you may also consider a home or work address of a friend or relative in Boise to allow your own schedule more flexibility.

Time - How much is yours worth? It takes 12 hours just to drive to IKEA and back, and that doesn't include shopping and loading time. That's a lot of time! And as your grandpa probably said, time is money. Speaking of money - Please do price shipping from IKEA's website before considering our service. Keep in mind that IKEA does not ship all the items in their on-line catalog. Assembled in Boise will more often than not come in under IKEA's price quote. Let's also not forget that driving to pick up the item yourself is also expensive, with gas prices, food cost, and expensive truck rental fees. Having Assemble in Boise deliver is an easy call to make! In addition, on a subject very close to our hearts, by shopping through Assembled in Boise, you are helping the environment. Instead of many cars making the trip to get many orders, we are making a single trip with a single vehicle for the same number of orders. Not to mention IKEA's own hearty and bold environmental policies. Voila! Environmentally friendly!

The short answer: No. The long answer: No, we are not affiliated with IKEA in any official way. We simply go to IKEA, buy the items you want, and deliver them to your home. Think about it this way... Let's say your neighbor wants to buy a bed from IKEA and before she leaves for Utah she asks if you'd like her to pick something up for you. You give her your list and money, she picks up your items while she's shopping for her own goodies. She then brings everything back to Boise and hand delivers it to you for a friendly fee to cover gas and vehicle costs. It's a win-win situation. We are merely doing you a neighborly favor.

Payment is due prior to our trip to IKEA. As a personal shopping service, we'll need to have your invoice paid so we'll have your money to purchase your items. If you're just looking for pricing information please use our cost calculator or send us an email at assembledinboise@gmail.com.

• How can I pay for my IKEA stuff?

Once you get your order together on IKEA's website and send us your order request, we will send you an invoice via PayPal. Once you receive it, you can pay for it via plastic! Once you pay, we'll confirm that your order has made it onto our delivery schedule.

• What if IKEA is out of stock of my requested item?

We'll either issue a refund or we can pick it up on a subsequent trip. Usually, we just collect it on the next trip and make a second delivery for no additional fee to you.

• Can you help design my living room/bathroom/garage/kitchen etc?

Yes, we are happy to help you design your living and work spaces! Kitchen design service is available through Assembled in Boise. With our fee based consultation, we can meet to discuss and plan your new kitchen from start to finish. We will also work with you or your own designer to pickup the items you need. • What is your return/exchange policy?

At this time, only goods that arrive to you damaged or broken can be returned for a full refund. If the product is damaged when you unpack it, we'll pick it up and take it back to IKEA for an exchange. We can return items purchased through Assembled in Boise or items purchased by other means. Please ensure that the return meets IKEA's return policies or we won't be able to take it back.

We go about every two weeks and do not typically change our trip dates once they are set. If you'd like to see us go more often, spread the word!

We're shopping for YOU! That's right, for the people of Boise and the greater Treasure Valley. It doesn't matter if you are an individual, a landlord, a business, or anyone else; we're happy to deliver for you. Boise needs an IKEA, and there are plenty of people interested in their products. But, until Boise grows considerably, that isn't likely to happen any time soon. So, we do the next best thing: bring IKEA to YOU! We are happy to shop for you, Boise.
